For a few years I’ve been getting into a lot of metaphysical things such as meditation, chakra clearing, aura cleanses and some other things.
And whether it’s created a placebo effect of sorts, it works….for me.
But lately I am trying to go a little more hardcore with it.
Detoxes are all the rage right now. From juice cleanses to water cleanses to fat flushing….blah blah blah.
But I’m more concerned with my emotional well being.
So I’ve adapted an emotional clearing tool from “Miracles Now” by Gabrielle Bernstein and I call it a Grudge Detox.
How to Do It
It’s very simple. Every day take time to release some negative energy you have for someone in order to move on in life.
To do this detox, everyday for a week find a moment to fill in the following statement madlibs style and direct some positive energy towards it.
Grudge Release Statement
Today I give positive intention to forgive ____________________________ (name of person to be forgiven) for ___________________(transgression committed against you). I will no long exert energy to change past circumstances. You are absolve, and now I can move on.
Put Some Stank on It (Just a Little Ooomph)
If you really want to “take it up a notch” light a white candle, sit in a quiet upright position play this track and focus your energy to releasing the grudge and negative energy.
As a side note, I want you all to understand that I am not a practitioner of few organized ANYTHING to include religion, yoga, etc.
I take bits and pieces of a lot of things and I use what works for me and I toss out what doesn’t. And I think you should do the same, so if this doesn’t work for you, don’t do it.
